Can I change the computer configuration in the Audi A4 1997, if it revs too high?
This may or may not be a stupid question! But I have an Audi A4 REVS too high compared with similar … Is it possible (not even worth it) the change / restart your computer to help relations transmission? If possible, the best way to get a mechanic to do the job or can anyone make intelligent mind at work?.
I'm assuming you mean the RPMs up more than usual before transmitting changes. If this is the case, there is nothing you can program. Unfortunately, there is nothing that an Audi technician can do with the program either. How do I know? I am an Audi technician. We conduct code or adaptations, but we can not reprogram the kind of parameters. You could try to change his driving style as well. When you get further up the RPM, you can help alleviate the gas a little to get the trans to change soon. If this does not change may have an electrical problem with your trans. You can also check Kickdown switch. If you can not, transmission would be in a constant "Kickdown State", which means he thinks you want to speed quickly and maintains the highest gear in the range revolutions.
