Have any printer manufacturers offer refillable ink cartridges? Or is it illegal filling of all brands of printer?
It is not illegal at all. I have had several Canon printers and they were all batteries. It worked well only the first charge. The replacement ink is not as good, but it sure is much more cheap. Some manufacturers (Epson I think) filled aluminum placing a small chip on the cartridge and must be connected somehow to restore, as well as recharge ink. because they will not tell you how to reset the chip, the refilled cartridge does not print even though it is full.
