Goal Setting for Children – 5 Steps To Making It Fun
Targets for children has to do with making sure that their children are having fun. When children are actively seeking fun experience again and again. We've all heard a thousand times before – "just one more time, please, Mom / Dad! "This is the capture phase of children having fun.
When children are bored out of sync, and turn restlessly around toward their own little fantasy world that is full of adventure and fun. Follow the five steps listed below and your children are too involved in achieving of their real adventures into the world of fantasy.
1) We will learn from their mistakes without criticism. Criticism deflates fun, as that support understanding and encouragement to help support a fun learning environment. It is from our mistakes that our greatest learning comes. When you view your mistakes as something that learn from their place of something that requires punishment is one of the biggest advantages we can give our children in life.
They are taught that mistakes are a normal part learning and achievement of our objectives. This in turn will help them to actively pursue their goals as they grow up without fear of mistakes. Instead, have the confidence to overcome many obstacles that life will throw at them.
2) Always focus on the positive. When our kids make a mistake to focus error as taught. Can be used as a positive. When they become disheartened to note what they have done that is good. And remember to recognize that something is difficult also focuses on the positive. It lets your children know that it is normal for almost everything to be hard and difficult at first.
3) Join the excitement and enthusiasm for the project. This is a sure way to enhance the experience for our children and double the fun. If you are really excited and happy to join them (but not taking over) in their search will be strengthened. And as a side effect you will feel a greater connection to their children.
4) Remember the journey is as important as the outcome. While it is important to know the end result when setting goals for children is not the only important element. See the journey as a series of mini goals that are necessary to achieve the final result.
Reward children for achieving each mini goal with plenty of praise and encouragement for what they have achieved so far. After all the goals for our children should be as much about creating happy lasting memories for our children and ourselves same as it tries to reach the finish line.
5) Address the mentoring role as an adventure rather than a chore. Take the attitude of the explorer and adventurer, and you begin to find ways to make the whole experience of goal setting fun and exciting for their children. This attitude also helps you see all their children experience from the point of view. You will be surprised how big of a difference a small change in perception can make to your overall perspective. And Your children will thank you with much enthusiasm and determination to do the job.
