Why is my PIXMA iP3300 usually recognize my black ink?
My Pixma iP3300 will not recognize my PGI-5 black ink cartridge. Is working well for some time and all of a sudden (just parts) the cartridge is not recognized. When I take it out and reinstall cartridge light turns on, but when printer resets the indicator is off. He also turned the printer on and off and pressing the RESET button for 5 seconds … nothing works. Any advice would be appreciated to get it fixed.
First, make sure there's no ink on or around the green chip. If dirty, wipe with a damp cloth. Try sending a print job to the printer. You get all kinds of error messages, keep clicking "continue print" or "yes, I want to print "options (I ask you three times and throw in a couple of scary warnings for parts of damaging the printer).
